We are using Business Objects XI release 3.1 Service Pack 2 Fix Pack 2.4.
We have a PM Universe which has 45 Objects across 3 different folders which are a mix of Dimension Objects and about 6 metrics to allow generation of multiple metrics sliced by Organisational structure.
There are about 45 filters per folder.
This obviously allows for generation of quite a large number of sliced metrics by many filters.
Recently as new metrics are being generated the old metrics are disappearing from the list when we go into Performance Manager - Metrics to look at Purging and Refreshing.
When I look into the PM repository the metrics are still in the database, which implies some sort of limitation within the Java which builds the Metrics lists.

Has anyone else experienced this ?

If so, how did you resolve it ?
-
Yes, I have logged a call with SAP about it, but the responses so far have not come up with a solution.
Personally I think there will turn out to be a memory issue somewhere, or a hardcoded limit within the code which generates the metric lists within the management area.
