Password Reset in BOXI 3.0 or 3.1 for Administrator

Hi all:

I forgot the administrator Password. Please let me know how to reset the administrator password. I know how to reset the passsword in XIR2. But in XIR 3.0 or 3.1 Don’t know.

Check this out, don’t know if works on XIR 3.0

Some one configured Business objects XiR2 before me on a windows server. The admin accounts and user accounts he handovered are not working. It looks those accounts created with a 30 days expiery. I know in BO 6.5 we can do the bomain.key recreation through safe recovery. But IN XiR2 , how can i recover those accounts. BO XI 3.1
We had BO Installation on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5

1.Stop the CMS service.
2.In the repository database, delete the record with OBJECTID 12 from the CMS_INFOOBJECTS6 table.
3.Start the CMS Service

We have tested this and it works.

Double check before deleting any record that it’s what you are looking for … I mean run first a select statement within the query builder and tehn run the delete…
