Passing a value from oner Webi report to another

I am using Webi XI 3.1 and I have created a hyperlink in my first report on a date field and I wanted to be able to lauanch a second report filtered by the date they click on. Can this be done using the opendocument feature.

This is exactly the sort of thing that you use OpenDoc for. Do a search on Opendocument or Hyperlink and you will find all the details you need.
