I have a Dashboard where I need to pass a hierarchical prompt to a Webi report using the opendocument statement. The prompt can either have 1,2 or 3 values depending on the user input. I am not sure this is possible?? I have read a fair amount about hierarchical prompts but they seem to be mostly BEx based. This is not Bex, this is Xcelsius/Dashboards. The issue is that when you run the report in Webi, it dynamically creates the SQL based on how many levels you choose in the hierarchical prompt. I have no idea how to pass this to the report.
One option is to create a mirror report with slightly different prompts based on the dashboard values, but this is not an elegant solution and the customer is not happy with it.
Does anyone have any ideas?
