Does BO require different RDBMS keys for oracle
depending upon the platform or is
it platform independent?
It is platform independent. I am running BO4 against databases on NT and
SCO UNIX, with the same RDBMS key.
What about sql*net?
If you are running the same version of Oracle on both servers, SQLNet
should not be an issue. The SQLNet client is independent of the server
platform. Again, I use SQL*Net 2.3.4 to access Oracle 7.3 servers on both
NT and SCO UNIX.
