ORA-00932 WIS 10901

I had an existing WebI 6.1a report which had been working fine.
Now I am getting an error:

Database error: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected %s got %s . Contact your administrator or database supplier for more information. (Error: WIS 10901)

Any ideas?
Thanks.
Hao.

What are you doing when you get this error?

I can’t run it, edit it or anything. All I did was add one object to the universe and then export the object. I even tried removing the object.

BO TechSupport is like, “???Confused themselves???”

I would expect if something was wrong SQL wise, I would get a SQL error before I try to hit “Run Query”.

I can’t even edit the report. It is set to refresh on open and has no prompts.

Thanks.
Hao.

Are you able to see the SQL? If so, show it to your DBA and have them see if they can spot an error. Since you’re getting an Oracle error, it must be something in the SQL that Oracle doesn’t like. Feel free to post the SQL here, as well.

Unfortunately, I can’t even get that far. I wish I could get the SQL, that would at least give me an idea on what my potential problem is.

This just sound slike a really wierd bug and the tech support folks @ bo seem to agree.

Well, if they decide it’s a bug, let us know.
