HI All,
If I am creating a opendoc call using the folder path and suddenly the folder name changes, the links cease to work.
Whats the alternative? ID or CuID??
Cheers

I like to stick with CUID so that when migrations are done properly, my links work from environment to environment.

Set standards and enforce them so that folder names do not change.

Thanks,
I explored and found out that CuID will be the way to go as suggested by Eric too.
Setting the standards is the most difficult route so i better go with this construct.

Yes CUID is the best option always. As the unique identification number never gets changed.

No offense but that statement should be qualified. If migrating from lower environments up, and unique ID matching is not used in the import wizard, the CUID can change, breaking the opendoc link.

Agreed Eric. Thanks for notifying it.
