Opendoc / Link two reports

Hi,

Sorry to bother you with a very simple (?) question.

I am new to Webi XI reports and need help with opendoc. I need to link my report “Sales” to a report called “Invoices” - both reports are in my favorites folder.

I do not know how to do it? Do I have to add a new tab in my existing report and in the new tab add a formula cell where I write to formula? How does the formula look like?

With surprisingly not a very simple answer, unless you are on XiR3.

Do a search for openDocument() and if you still have problems then ask again, but there should be enough out there for you to get a handle on it.

We are using WebI 11.5.8.826 so help was not helping me…

Now I know that it is called openDocument() - not opendoc - so I am able to seach in the web.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it did not work. I added the formula in a new cell, in a new report tab, in my Invoices report.
