Opendoc in Business Objects XI 3.2

All -
I have a web intelligence report that I link to a powerpoint presentation that is loaded in my BO Repository. This is all done in XI 3.1 and it all works fine.

I have another server that (The only difference that I know of) is XI 3.2 (Just upgraded). To my knowledge everything else is working fine and the patch is fixing many other issues. Unfortunately, after the transport, I am unable to make the Opendoc link work. The powerpoint file is visible and can be accessed from the repository when we click on it, but the same link (Adjusted for the other server name of course) does not work in the new version.

Does anyone have ANY IDEAS???

Are you seeing an error message?

The error message is:

"An error has occurred: An error occured while trying to view the document "

Any Thoughts?

Instead of modifying the hyperlink, can you try to re-create the link through the scheduler.

I had a similar problem after upgrading, but my solution was to alter the ‘WAR’ files back to the same values as before the upgrade, and the error message I was getting implied that a userid had been disabled.

I am not sure about the “Scheduler” piece. I just have a link within a Webi Report that I am trying to use as the opendoc.

The OpenDoc link is created through the scheduler. It’s a distribution option for a user when a report is scheduled. If your actually looking at a different server now, then I’m sure the OpenDoc link would need to be re-created
