I’ve been developing a dashboard using WEBI reports connected to Excel via Live Office as my source. I captured the prompts by setting my object refresh to “On Demand”, then binding the prompts to a cell. Whenever I refresh the objects by changing the value of the bound cell, it takes upwards of 30 minutes of waiting just to get them to refresh (although the refresh times themselves clock in similar to the time of running the WEBI itself). What could be the cause for this? I don’t seem to get this issue when I do it from within the dashboard, but it interferes with debugging if something happens to the dashboard.
