We’re looking at using Data Services to load certain data into Hybris Marketing (yMKT). For that purpose we will use the Data Load RDS package for SAP Data Services.

Looking at the RDS package, I see that SAP is using the User Defined Transformations to run Python scripts to load data into Hybris Marketing using OData. While I’m sure that this will work, these transforms have quite an overhead (in my experience) but also restrict this to only customers that are licensed for full Data Services rather than Data Integrator, as I believe the User Defined Transformations are covered under the Data Quality licensing.

Anyway, is it possible to setup an OData Adapter through the Management Console and use that with Hybris Marketing instead?

Has anyone else here used Data Services to interface with Hybris Marketing and if so, did you use the Data Load RDS or did you configure your own custom OData adapter?

HI Eric,

I’ve been trying to get this working for almost two weeks now and can’t get OData to even connect. We do use RDS but with connection to ECC and SQL Server.

I’m trying to connect to the SAP cloud 4 Sales with OData to Data Services and there is no step by step instructions at all. I do have the Data services side in place. And you’re correct. You’ll need to add the adapter to DS console manager.
