Objects not found in Universe

Hi ,

I have a Sybase 12.5 Database and a universe is created on the same.

when i use a particular table in desktopintelligence i get proper query and no dta to fetch as there is no data in it .

But when i use this same class and objects using webintelligence i get the error

WIS 00001 some objects have been removed from universe and i cant even see sql when i click on sql i get the same above error.

Did you export the universe after doing the last changes,maybe the CMS repository has an old copy with obsolete or missing objects
And I guess you are modifying an existing webI report?

Am just trying 2 pull two objects in the webi report and run it then i get above error.

But it works fine in Desktopintelligence …

only when iu try these objects in WEBI i get the WIS 00001 error.

i spoke 2 DBA and he says the table name is in lower case and column name is in upper case SYABSE AD 12,5

is this an issue for Webi xir2

Sorry ,

i have exported that and using the latest copy.

Actuaklly i have migrated these universe from Bo 6.5 and using them in xir2

Did you check other objects, does it work and shows proper case for table and column name (from generated SQL)
If its the same like the other two objects then the problem lies elsewhere

The universe works fine when i use these objects and other objects in Desktop Intelligence .

The other objects in the universe work fine for deski and webi both .

only objects from this table give this error in webi.

this table doesnt contain any data .

since this table was working fine in 6.5 we have to make sure it works fine in xir2 also

Then where did you see the upper & lower case for table & column names?Is it in the universe or in DeskI
And what about other objects, does it show proper case for table and column name (from generated SQL)

I saw the upper and lower case in the Universe designer wher we can clik on table value we can see column names and the table name is in lower case

Its strange because these objects work fine in 6.5 webi but in xir2 Webi they show above error.

Also i cant understand how they work fine in deski xir2.
