Object Description

Hi,

There is Description for Object in the Universe. But from BO full Client/Webi, this description is not visible.
How to make this object Description visible to report author?

In Full Client, there are 3 icons in the upper left-hand corner of the Query Panel. Make sure each of these is pressed and you will see the object descriptions. In WebI, I couldn’t find any settings (which is not to say there aren’t any ) to display the descriptions; mine have always displayed (I’m using WebI 2.6).

It is visible on the query panel if you have the “help” area displayed. That goes for both the Webi and the BusinessObjects query panel.

Now that you’ve pointed that out, the WebI Help for the Web Panel says

The Help area at the bottom left displays any description the universe’s designer provided about a selected object in the Classes and Objects panel. If you’d rather have more space to display the universe’s classes and objects, you can remove the Help area by clicking the Help button in the Web Panel toolbar.

Only thing is, I don’t see a help button anywhere
