Object cuid is invalid

When selecting edit command on a table (hard coded SQL) and clicking on ok I get the following error “Object cuid is invalid”.
Where is that coming from and how can this be fixed ?

We are using Business View Manager 12.1.8.1176 and this happening all the time on some of are pre-existing table created with free hand sql and referencing several parameters.
Can anyone explain what is require to fix this issue?
