Object CUID is Invalid for Custom Function

In our repository we have 5 custom functions that are giving us the above error when we try to do anything with them. I have no idea what their object id’s are or in what report(s) they reside. Does anyone have any idea how I can find these functions in the repository and how I can delete them or delete the references from the CMS database? All of our custom functions are unuseable because these corrupt functions are preventing us from expanding the Repository Custom Functions or adding new functions to the repository.

I’ve been on the phone with SAP/BO for a couple of weeks and they cannot figure out how to delete them. I’ve search this forum and I’ve found just about everything but how to find custom functions in the repository and/or delete them.

You can find and delete the custom functions by opening up the “Business View Manager” through your desktop.

Start\All Programs\Business Objects xxxx

Log in using the administrator id

When the welcome comes up, click on Cancel

Then click on View, Repository Explorer

You should see a set of folders, one of them labeled “Custom Functions”
