I installed serve tools (3.1) on windows server 2008 system, and client tools on other systems on net work. I am not able connect from client systems to main server.
DO we need to do any settings on server side for this. I am doing installation for the first time.
Pls let me know…

Could you please give us a little more detail about your install? For example, when you say
do you mean the clients are on a different LAN, outside of the firewall,etc? Also, is it that you can connect to the CMS but don’t see your reports or you just can’t log in? Are you getting any errors? If so, what are those errors?
The more information you can provide the better chances for someone to be able to help you out.
