Not able to change the WEBI document location in Live office

Hello,

I have a requirement to point my live office objects to some other webI document which is also having the same objects with minimal structural changes.
I am doing this from the object properties tab of the live office.I am saving the changes successfully. Problem here is if I reopen the xlf file and verifies the live office object properties ,it shows me the previous one not the new changes which I have done recently.
I am new to xcelsius and not able to troubleshoot as why it is not retaining the latest changes(Changing webi Document Location).

Can someone suggest me any solution or possible causes for this.

Hello Neetuc,

There’s one workaround to solve that mysterious vanishes in live office. Don’t insist on trying to do that in the polite way, when Live office starts to behaving like this, don’t waste your time, there’s nothing to do.

Delete the object in the live office tab, and build up again pointing to the new location.

The reason? there’s no factible reason, just Live office is the best in terms of bugs.

I perfectly agree.
No way to move from one report source to another in the same CMS. Otherwise, change CMS maintaining the same REPORT ID than the original one…but I know it is not “always” suitable…
