We have one rogue report that will not display the message stating there is no data to display when it comes back empty. i have attached screen shots of a report that does what it is supposed to do (second img) and the one that does not (first image). Any suggestions on where to look?
If you work out how it’s occuring then let us know, tjhat is the holy grail of BO reporting, ie not getting the “No Data To Retrieve” message without joining to dummy table or something.
Oh… and being able to hide a column, row, cell etc.
Try this…
Create a new report tab and just drag all the objects in to that.
That will help to know whether something is not hidden by report filter or formatting.
It could be some report filter has ben applied because of which data is coming in data provider but not showing up in report because of filters applied.
