New to Business Objects

Hi,
I am new to Business Objects. I am trying to practice Web Intelligence, but i am unable to find out the default universes. So if anybody knows the location of placing the universes i will copy there in that location. It happened the same with the Deski, then i copied the Universes to

My documents -> My Business Objects Documents -> User Docs.

But in Webi i dont know the location where to copy so could some one help me in telling the location…

You shouldn’t be copying the universes around. The User Docs folder is intended for reports, not for universes.

When you create a query on a universe, BusinessObjects should automatically download the universe into the correct sub-folder of your installation. You shouldn’t be futzing around with it.

This was written for a legacy version, but the concepts should still apply, even if you’re using XI: from Bob’s Downloads: Mysteries of the Universe.
