Need to install Live office XI with office 2010 version.

Hi All,

Can you please explain me what are the steps to follow to install live office Xi with office version 2010?

One of my friend tried yesterday and he is getting an error - Office XP application: outlook,Excel or Powerpoint must be pre installed.

Now he was unable to continue the download. Anybody knows what can cause this error as its a BO application ADD-IN?

Any help/suggestions please.

Hi,

Office 2010 is supported since XI 3.1 SP3 FP 3.4, which is a new full install of live office. You won’t be able to install any older version of live office with office 2010 since the architecture in office 2010 is different from the previous versions.
