Need SQL help to convert GMT to EST in Sybase

Hi,
I need SQL query to convert GMT to EST in sybase database.
Anybody done this before?

I believe that EST is GMT - 5 hours. So, depending on your database, something like this should work:

DateField - (1/24*5)
