i have just joined BOB and i would like to congratulate everyone for this beautiful forum.
I am working for almost a year in a department which uses BO 6.5
I am familiar with VBA coding (mostly done in excel) and i am trying to perform some coding in BO also. I would like to post 2 questions concerning BO (hoping that i am posting on the wright topic)
a) Are there any decent books to buy concerning vba in BO
b) As i do not enter as an admin, i do not have the wright to create or to modify universes. Although, i need different data from different universes to be displayed in the same report. Is that possible
I don’t believe so. We do have a very good sdk / vba forum.
Yes! You can create a number of data providers, each based off a different universe. Typically, each will have at least one piece of common information. You link the data providers together using this common information (a dimension, or a number of dimensions).
