Multiple Parameter Fields (Optional)

Hello

I am producing a report in Crystal which needs to have 2 prompt fields. This part is easy but what I need is I only want the user to be able to fill in 1 of the parameter fields.

In more detail, I either want to return a list of accounts by a certian date or by specific account numbers. I have created the 2 parameter fields and I have added them in the Record Filter. When I refresh the report and add the date it still asks for the account numbers, goes to the formula workshop and says ‘Parameter has no value’.

Can someone please explain how I would get it to ask for the date and account numbers but only require the one.

under Parameter field option you can check the Optional. In this way you can answer either one of the 2 parameter you refering.
