MS SQL Server 2014 OLEDB Connection --> CLSID Error

We just upgrade to SQL Server 2014 and the MS doc says that the 2012 Native Client supports 2014 (there is no 2014 Native Client.) We have the 2012 Native Client installed and our connections were working fine until we upgraded…now we get the CLSID error:

CS: COM Provider CLSID not specified or erroneous

Has anyone encountered this problem? Ideas?

Microsoft have been widely reported as deprecating OLE DB connectivity - I’d move to ODBC if I were you.

Thanks for the advice. I was actually just able to get the connection to work using the 2012 OLEDB provider, even though the database is 2014. Seems to be working. Not sure why a 2014 OLEDB connection provider even exists if it will not work.
