Moving Current DI repository from SQL Server 2000 to 2005

Dear experts,
I would like to know a case resolution.
In current case, a customer has to upgrade the current database MS SQL 2000 to MS SQL 2005.
Can DI repository migrate to upgrated database?
Any other difficulty on it?

If it can, could you please provide the steps and the official document on it?

If you do an in-place upgrade of the repository database server from SQL 2000 to SQL 2005, there’s nothing to do for DI – it will be invisible.

If you set up a new SQL 2005 machine, and put a copy of the DI repository there (which then would be upgraded)… you’ll need to go through the DI job server configuraiton process again.

Either way, the DI repo being in 2000 vs. 2005 mode is irrelevant to DI.

the MS SQL 2005 enviroment is on a new machine.

I’m new on DI. Do you know steps to configure the DI job server? Any difficulty on it?
