Move Oracle Crystal reports to SQL server

Hi All,

I am new to Crystal reports .

We have crystal reports running on oracle database. now management has decided to replace oracle database with SQL server. can we point crystal reports to sql server directly(all the tables and structures will be the same in both databases).

Can some one please suggest me how much re-work is required?
what are all the things i need to take care?

You should be able to do ‘Set Datasource Location’ (under the Database menu item). And if all the fields map correctly, then you should not have to do anything else.

I have seen cases where Crystal gets confused if there are two databases on the same server (normally mapping field by field will work).
