Modify from Infoview XIr2 opens 6.5 Deski???

We’re in the process of rolling out XIr2 (SP2) and, generally, its been very successful.

We are not using WebIntelligence so all our users have Deski installed and use Infoview to view/schedule reports, then use “modify” to open a report in Deski.

However, I have just seen a users PC that is working fine in every aspect EXCEPT that when clicking “modify”, the PC opens BO 6.5!

I havent tried uninstalling 6.5 yet, but I have renamed the folder and it just fails to open - obviously it is still looking for that folder. And it has worked for all our other clients so not sure why this one users PC is acting strange!

Any ideas?

Have you looked at the file associatons, in Windows, to see the default program that opens a .rep file?

Of course! :slight_smile: That was the first assumption but that all checks out OK. I even deleted the file association and recreated it from new, just to make sure, but Infoview still opens 6.5
