Modify Crystal Reports in BO XI 3.1 Infoview

Hey,
i checked the forum but i couldnt find a answer for my Question. Is it possible to modify Crystal Reports in the Infoview?? Something like the interactive mode for Webi. I heard something from a Crystal Reports Explorer but there is nothing like this in my in Infoview. I just can open the Crystal Report with the Crystal Viewer.

Maybe someone can help me

There is no CR explorer in XI3.1. It exists in XIr2 although I have not used it to modify a report. I think you can only create not modify using CR explorer. In XI3.1, you can only modify any Crystal Reports using the CR client.

So i can just use the infoview to share the reports and if i wanna modify them i have to install CR client on the hosts?? But then i dont know what the Crystal Report Server ist for???

Yes, you use Infoview to collaborate, share, schedule, etc. any crystal reports, webintelligence reports and building dashboards using a thin client. Use CR client to modify Crystal Reports. CRS is used for server/user administration.

You can install the CR client locally in your machine and/or in the server.

Can you format CR in Report Viewer?

By format means removing column, changing font colors, turning table into charts etc…
