I have many BusinessQuery files and I just want to know if there is any utility provided by BusinessObjects to migrate them to XI? Do we have to create the queries from scratch? It really affect our decision to upgrade.

No such tool is provided, and there really is no “timesaving” workaround possible. You’ll have to recreate from scratch, I’m afraid.

How about saving .bqy to .rep in 5.1.x and then convert the .rep using XI Report Conversion Tool?
