migration of data from legacy source to SAP BW

A simple question.

Can we migrate data from legacy source to SAP BW?

Such as PeopleSoft data or any other, relational data source?
Sure, DataServices can load all kinds of source data into all kinds of target systems such as SAP BW or SAP HANA, or other relational DBMS.

Hi Andreas,

There are set of legacy extract files in xls format to be loaded to FI,MM.SD etc modules of SAP.
I wonder in standard best data practices(AIO framework), the destination is SAP ECC which makes use of standard IDocs.
How SAP BW would be used in this case?
