Migration from 6.5 to XI R2

We need to migrate all reports,users,objects from 65.to XI R2 ,we are new to this migration ,Please provide us some idea how we have to start ?and what are steps we need to think before migraing

Start by reading manuals. The good one in your case should be “BusinessObjects 6.x to XI Release 2 Migration Guide”.

Hi

I tried to search but could not find BO 6.5 and XI comparison document.

Can you please tell me where can I find such document?
I would like to compare BO 6.5 and XI for the below parameters –
Architecture
Component Services
Metadata Management
Reporting/Aggregating features
Third party integration capabilities
Performance/Scalability features

I am not sure whether I am posting this to right thread but just thought of putting my requirement here so that anybody has this document can share for all.

Yes. I had posted in “Did you know Series in BO” but there was no response and while searching I got this thread “Migration from BO 6.5 to XI R2”.
