Here`s a wild one.
Is it feasible to migrate from BO Data Integrator 6.5.1 (from ancient history) to SAP DS 4.2? I doubt it can be done directly, but is it actually achievable in the first place. That’s a massive product gap right there.
Anyone know of any documentation regarding such a thing, there`s not much resource out there any more with any knowledge of DI below 11.5!

Wow. 6.5.1 - what’s it running on, Windows 2003 server?
I’d imagine that you’d have to go via XIr2 or XI3 just as you would with the rest of the suite. It might even be a two stager to get to DS4.2
Even then, I’d imagine that you’d need to be careful with connectors (i.e. what you’re connecting from/to) and whether they’re compatible.
I was kinda hoping someone would have the migration path document, probably covered in dust.
There is a hop to upgrade the repo, same with the xir2sp2 hop from 6.5.1 BO. However, can`t find any docs to tell me what hops are required.
Even then, getting legacy software to do the hops isn`t easy. They have to be done via a special software request with SAP. Pain in arse.
