Migrating scheduled jobs from DI 4.1 to DI 4.2

Hi guys

we’ve installed a SAP DS 4.2 system and have migrated the repos from SAP DS 4.1 by taking copies of the repos then running the upgrade wizard against them.

The jobs were scheduled using the native scheduler and obviously they were configured for the old job server.

Do I need to do anything special in order to reconfigure the jobs for the new DS 4.2 server?

If you changed to a different machine then you may have to start over from scratch. But try this first: If you look at the list of scheduled jobs in the new setup you may have “scheduled” jobs. What you’re missing is the files in the O/S and a hook in the O/S scheduler to actually run the jobs. Try deactivating the jobs in the Management Console and then reactivating them. That may create the O/S files and the scheduler hook.
