Migrating from BO XI to Crystal Reports -- Feasible?

We got to hear about some options, available for migrating BO XI to Crystal Reports.

Is this feasible? Is it advisable?

Would it be cost effective?

If someone know about some article / documentation on the same, please do share.

Are you referring to an Enterprise migration - BOE XI to Crystal Enterprise?

Would such a thing be possible ?
Enterprise migration – If yes, is it cost effective.

If only some parts need to be migrated, like Web I reports/deski reports, would the other components be compatible

I`m not clear what you mean.

BOXI is a reporting architecture which contains a group of reporting tools, Crystal Reports is one of those reporting tools. Thats like saying “can I migrate Windows Server 2003 to SQL Server?”. BOXI isn`t a reporting tool, Deski, Webi and Crystal are…

If your actually asking;

Can I migrate from BOXI Professional Ad Hoc Reporting to BOXI Professional Enterprise Reporting, then license wise yes, technology wise no. You`d have to rewrite any Deski\Webi report as a Crystal Report.
