migrated LO 3.1 to 4.0 and sametime MS excel 2007 -> 2010

I’m in the middle of Xcelsius dashboard migration project(BOBJ files from 3.1 to 4.0 and Excel from 2007 to 2010) and I found myself stuck in the following situation:

My XLF dashboard-file contains a XLS sheet with some “hidden” Live Office Objects in it.

So I can see the LiveOffice objects (tables from a webi report) in the Excel sheet, but they are not listed as LO objects in that Excel sheet, so I’m not able to modify properties of them or even delete them or overwrite them.

Anyone experienced this behavior earlier?

Hello Tiny,

i would suggest to treat your excel file outside dashboard
edit and then and import the excel again.

For save the xls of the dashboard there is a little trick
you have to click on the really thin grey border under the sheets :slight_smile:
