I am creating a report in Webi XI3.1. Can i later migrate i to XIR2 as some other team would want the same report and they are using Business objects XIR2.

Not possible to Migrate Webi XI3.1 to XIR2.
You can migrate to higher version but not lower version.
go through the migration guide.

Thanks guys i also think thats right . I also searched for some posts. Some were not sure. But some of the experts are sure thats its not backward compatible
