We have some problems with Desktop Intelligence.
Sometimes it close its session and give me the following message:
“Buffer overrun detected!
Program: … ssObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_x86\busobj.exe
A buffer overrun has been detected which has corrupted the program’s internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.”
After this error Desktop Intelligence close its session and when I try to open it again the generic form is grey and its doesn’t allow to do anything.
We resolve this problem deleting BO’s register key (regedit).
When upgrading Deski the client side must mirrow the server side. They are not on the same version that is why the error appears. They must be on the same version of the software.
Resolution
Make sure the client have the same version of deski as the server side. They must be on the same version.
