Metadata connection to Data Integrator repository failed

Hi,

We have upgraded our DI from V11.0 to V11.7.2 and with the new DI version I have been trying to setup the Metadata on the BOE CMS (BOXI R2) server which is a separate machine.

The Metadata installation was succesful, but when I test the configured Metadata Repository connection, it returned this error message “Unable to create connection to Data Integrator repository. Exception: BODI-3013014: Database driver for ‘Microsoft_SQL_Server’ is not loaded.”

Then I setup the same configuration on the DI server, and the test connection was successful.

I have checked my ODBC connection, it’s setup succesfully. I have gone through the Installation and Configuration guide a few times now, and can’t seem to find what I have missed out.

Appreciate if anyone has any idea what went wrong and what this error message means. Thanks

JC

Thanks Darth.

The problem is now fixed with I modified a path in cmsConfig.cmd, its this path:

Web External jars

cp.4.directory=%link_dir%\ext\WebServer\diAdmin\WEB-INF\lib\

change this to

cp.4.directory=%link_dir%\ext\lib\

But next it return another error message in the last window, please see attached. The error is now :

Save configuration… Succeeded
Connect to CMS… Succeeded
Register program object… Failed

java.lang.Exception: Unable to register program object. Exception: Update the Data Integrator repository with metadata from Universes, Business Views, WebIntelligence Documents and Crystal Reports available in this Enterprise Server.

I have search the forum but no post for this error before.
Appreciate is any of you had any experiences on this error, but have not posted here and solved the error.
