Merge Dimensions in Dashboard Design Tool

Dear All,

Can we merge dimensions in Dashboard Design tool like the way we do in Web-I. If not, what is a workaround.

Nope.

Possible Work arounds:

  • Use Webi (with merged data providers) via BI WebService to feed into your dashboard
  • Do the merging in the backend/database or in the universe/IDT via multi-souce relational universes (*.unx)
  • Use Vlookup formulas in MS Excel, which will negatively effect your performance though!
