Match Transform Error

Hi, I am using match transform to identify duplicates in my source data input table. The matching is simply performed on a single column that contains the firm name. I have used base_match transform and within the editor, used standard ‘firm’ matching scores/ values in the ‘Option’ tab. My match criteria is set to 101 and no match criteria is set to 77.

However, for 2 records that are 100% similar, they have not been detected as the same group number for some reason. Irrespective of the match score that I set, the group number column has all blank values for all records…

Is there anything specific that we need to set in order to make sure that we atleast get 100% similar records identified as matching records?

Hi Ankit,

For match transform order is not required. but it takes the first occurrence in the field for duplicates as reference ( driver ) and next similar values give as passengers. Try to give the match score is 100 and no match score 99 and execute the job.

Thanks & Regards,
Ramana.
