Match Review Group Approval

Hi All,

I have scenario where we need to have 600000 records in a group so that users can search for records and group them together based on their tribal knowledge.

IS was throwing error and wouldnt create a task for that match configuration, so we splitted them in chunks of 30k each to accomodate and resolve that issue. Now that we have them in IS we are not able to approve that group of 30k records.

Does IS has limitation on how many records need to be there in a particular match group to be approved?

It does seem to have a limit in prior releases and there are patches out to fix the problem in using match groups > 500k. May be the sap note 2151032 helps you there. An extract of the note is below :

Symptom
Filtering more than 500,000 records of match group data may fail with the error “An unexpected error occurred while accessing or updating the
data. Contact your administrator. (COR-10820)”.

SAP Information Steward 4.2 SP03
Steps to reproduce:

Create a Match Data Review connection in the CMC.

Create a Match Review configuration and use a table that has more than 500,000 match groups.

Run the Match Review task, and from the list of Match Group list, create a filter (for example, on the Group Number or Group Count column), and
click OK.
Reason and Prerequisites
The root cause of this error is a defect in the Information Steward Data Review Service generating correct and optimized SQL statements for
filtering the data.
Solution
This correction is delivered in the release(s) listed in the Support Packages and Patches section of this SAP Note.
