Margin Problems with HP Laser Jet 4 Plus printer

Everyone,

I have a user who is printing to a local HP Laser Jet 4+ printer. The report he is trying to open is set with a .3 inch left margin. When he opens the document, the margin changes to 2.5 inches and it will not let him change the margin back to .3 . When he opens the report in Infoview, the report prints with the correct margin. I open the same report on my PC and the margins are correct.

Has anyone else experienced this situation before with the HP Laserjet 4+ printers?

Bob, I’d like to suggest you do a forum Search. Keywords that I tried for: margin printer returned about 8 topics.

It’s not just the HP Laser Jet 4 Plus printer. Make sure everyone is using the same printer. We had the same problem. The margins and footers were not the same when the other person opened the same document I was using. Very frustrating.
