marco in BO 6.5 to migrate to BO XIR3

hi everyone,
We are migrating from BO 5.1.6 to BO XI R 3. we have .rea (vba macro) addin in almost all the reports to refresh reports automatically and save as pdf on network drive.
We are wondering if macro will work in BO XI R 3 as well accurately with no problems?

Can anyone share/suggest anything here?

Our macros work fine as long as you are using the “ThisDocument” method and not “ActiveDocument”.

However why do you want to use macros to save as pdf and to a network location when this can be done with the Scheduling options provided by BO?

i forgot to mention that we were using custom macro.
