I need to do a map that only selects the regions by continents like:
America do Norte = USA e Canada
LATAM = America do Sul, Caribe & Mexico
APAC = Asia + Australia + “APAC” etc.
Africa
Middle East
but the region key only have all 8 continents.
how can I select regions differently from the Xcelsius propose?

Are you looking to start with a world map view? If so, from what I understand, the world map is limited to fixed 8 continents and you need many different and custom country selections. So, if you need to start from the world view, you would need to bring all the individual continent maps on the canvas, shrink each one, and build the world map. Then use transparent push buttons the size of the region and overlay the map. This will give them something to click on or hover over. When clicked, then light up the countries that the button relates to or shift dynamic vis to enhance to that region like a drilldown. Not sure of your intent as to what was next, but figured drill from world, region, country, measures… (In this case, a custom region vice continent)
Hope that might help. I pieced together some continents and built a rough world map in a few minutes - I think it’s doable.
