Maps and Filters

Is it possible to use Maps and Filters together in Xcelsius?

I have built dashboards with Filters, and others with Maps, but as a pair they don’t seem to function.

My data is set-up thus:

Period Product Description Region Sales

Month1 Prod1 Reg1 n
Month1 Prod2 Reg1 n
Month1 Prod3 Reg1 n
Month1 Prod1 Reg2 n
Month1 Prod2 Reg2 n
Month1 Prod3 Reg2 n
Month2 Prod1 Reg1 n
Month2 Prod2 Reg1 n
Month2 Prod3 Reg1 n
Month2 Prod1 Reg2 n
Month2 Prod2 Reg2 n
Month2 Prod3 Reg2 n

My filter would filter on the first 2 columns. My map needs to show columns 3 and 4. Any ideas?

Yes, you can filter data for use in a map…or chart, or anything else.

See example.

My example would be more exiting if the data were live, and were actually using a database instead of a datablock on the excel book for the source figures.
