How can we maintain multiple versions of an IDT universe? We need to document the changes made to the universe in each release and also maintain the versions separately .
Through the CMC, there is a tool called Version Management. Once you save a universe out you can go there and check the universe into Version Management. You can have multiple versions there and can retrieve any of the historical versions you may need.
You can configure CMC tab access so that your universe developers can log in and only see the Version Management option to open it up to them.
We use this functionality at our company and it works well.
You can also open this up to report developers to use Version Management if you like.
