Can someone explain what the Machine Name represents ? I’m pretty sure it’s the actual hardware server that the CMS instances are going to run on. Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I’m asking because if I do a restore from a PROD system to another DR server and I load up the restore on the DR server , the machine name shows the Prod server. So if I enable , stop or do anything else to these server instances are the changes actually going to happen on the PROD server since the machine name shows the PROD server ?
