Lumira Service in 'failed' or 'starting' mode after upgrade

After upgrading from Lumira 1.31 to 2.0 sp2 patch 1 with BO 4.2sp2. The lumira service failed to start.

When re-starting the service it goes into ‘starting’ mode and hangs there.

Any idea?

Is this on the same node as the rest of BI or a separate node?

I’m guessing too late for helping but a couple of issues we experienced in an similar upgrade from 1.31.8 -> 2.1 with solutions:

  1. LumiraServer running with errors -> SAP Note 2220461 - Scenario 2 was the issue for us.
  2. We also found that the installation reset the configuration that the LumiraServer was meant to be running on a specific request port rather than an auto assigned on.
