lookup_ext + expression

I’m trying to use the expression feature in lookup_ext.

I can get DS to evaluate expressions like “1+1” but when I try to use columns from either the lookup table or the input schema I get an error saying “column was not found in table” UNLESS the column is included in the condition columns of the lookup.

Anyone seen this before?

Not geting your point. There is just the conditional expression where you can type in expressions and 1+1 is certainly a valid expression. Can you post a screenshot?

I guess my question is, where can I find documentation for the usage of the Expression feature in lookup_ext function?

Specifically, how can I access the data in the flow/lookup table from the expression.

With expression feature I mean the “Expression?” check box in the Output columns.
