Thank you Andreas,

I will , but I still looking for answer .
When you buy these licenses .Do they come with standard features and Does SAP give you all features within these licenses and later on you discover for any features that it need a license like drilling , I remember once in 6.1 a version drilling was not working and I contact technical support and told me you need license for this .

In other word Does SAP-Business Object have tricks in licensing .

Thank you in advance .

As Andreas has stated, you need to talk to your Account Manager or Sales Rep regarding licensing. Licensing is very complex, and it varies from company to company. Everything is negotiable. And everything is written down in black and white. There is no “trick”.

And of course, your legal department is supposed to read ALL the fine prints first, before you make the purchase.

I agree with everyone else. Things change ALL the time in licensing so it’s best to get the information – in writing – directly from the vendor. It’s a lot of money; I wouldn’t spend it on BOB’s say-so (as great as BOB is!).

Before purchasing, ask your rep for documentation showing the features available for each license. I believe there are significant differences between Pro and Premium (the first item on your list) and between Interactive viewing and Web Intelligence (the second and third items).

This list helped us a few years ago. But I’m sure it’s changed since then, particularly if you’re looking at 3.1.
